Latin America's convenience store sector has shown varied app performance in the first quarter of 2024, with insights provided by Sensor Tower. Here's how the top apps fared on the Android platform.

mi OXXO experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 52K downloads and seeing a peak at over 61K, before dropping to around 34K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, initially at 188K and then declining to 134K.

Dollar General saw an overall increase in downloads, beginning the quarter with a modest 267 downloads and ending with over 1K. Weekly active users showed growth, starting at 7K and increasing to 13K by the quarter's end.

Family Dollar also observed an upward trajectory in downloads, with an initial 246 downloads and a high point of nearly 2K, before settling at around 1K. The app's weekly active users peaked at 2.4K and ended the quarter at 1.8K.

The 7-Eleven México app's downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 634 and dipping to 461 by March. Its weekly active users started at approximately 2.6K, decreasing slightly to 1.8K.

Lastly, The 99 Store had a rocky quarter, with downloads initially at 58, peaking at 383, and its weekly active users growing from 419 to 806.
